Our Products

Rainbow Trout

All Rainbow trout are cultured with the utmost care to ensure their health and well-being while under our custody. The trout are not treated with antibiotics as they grow under our  care- ever.

All trout are delivered to the receiving shops the same day they are slaughtered and cleaned. And, if you pick them up by 4 p.m. that same day they will be so fresh, they are stiff with rigour mortis.

We provide you with three sizes of trout, head on gills in. The trout are available at the receiving shops each weekend throughout the year:

  • Small trout, within the range of 0.9 to 1.1 lb
  • Medium trout, within the range of 1.8 to 2.2 lb
  • Large trout within the range of 2.7 to 3.3 lb
Sashimi

We also provide specially-raised and prepared Rainbow Trout and Sockeye Salmon for sashimi using a special diet in each case.

These fish are then cleaned using the traditional Japanese Ikejime method to drain body fluids from the fish, limit release of hormones (such as cortisol), and greatly reduce the presence of lactic acid in the flesh, all of which degrade flesh. 

All sashimi fish are delivered to the receiving shops the same day they are slaughtered and cleaned. 

The result is a superior tasting fish suitable for sashimi.

Sockeye Salmon

All Sockeye salmon are also cultured with the utmost care to ensure their health and well-being while under our custody. These salmon  are also not treated with antibiotics as they grow under our care- ever.

All Sockeye are delivered to the receiving shops the same day they are slaughtered and cleaned. And, if you pick them up by 4 p.m. that same day they will be so fresh, they are stiff with rigour mortis.

Sockeye salmon are only available at selected times from December of each year to February of the following year. Upcoming days of delivery will be noted at this site a week in advance.

We provide you with three sizes of Sockeye, head on gills in:

  • Small Sockeye, within the range of 1.8 to 2.2 lb
  • Medium Sockeye, within the range of 2.7 to 3.3 lb
  • Large Sockeye, within the range of 3.6 to 4.4 lb

Purchase & Pickup


Once you've purchased your fish at our online shop you can pick up on Saturday after 1pm until Sunday at 5pm at Driediger Farms Market (23823 72 Ave, Langley, BC V1M 3K9).

All of our fish are processed on Saturday morning. For optimal freshness we suggest you pick up on Saturday. We also encourage you to bring a small cooler and freezer pack for transport, especially during hot weather.

Alternate pick-up days are available if needed, please email info@fraservalleyseafood.com with your order number to arrange this. 

Please bring either a print or electronic copy of your order to confirm and pick up directly from the cashier.
